Hy-Lo Creative — a Melbourne-based independent music and arts label — and Heaps Normal Records — the music arm of the trailblazing non-alcoholic beer brand Heaps Normal — have teamed up to present a one-night-only showcase at The Evelyn, spotlighting two of Australia’s most exciting emerging voices.
Melbourne-based rapper, singer and producer IJALE headlines the night. Known for his genre-fluid sound that blends afrobeat, hip hop, R&B, and electronica, IJALE’s recent minutiae EP has cemented his place as one of the most innovative voices in the Australian scene. His live sets are rich, energetic, and deeply personal.
Joining him is Lucy Sugerman — an alt-folk-pop artist whose raw songwriting and haunting melodies have struck a chord with audiences nationwide. Following the release of her acclaimed single ‘crumb’ and an international showcase at SXSW Austin, Lucy brings her emotionally charged performance to Melbourne for this special night.
Rounding out the lineup is DJ Lehi, whose eclectic sets span hip hop, electro, and beyond.
