We’re excited to welcome Rhen from Ephemera for a tasting of vibrant, minimal-intervention wines that speak to place, passion, and personality.

Together with his partner Janelle, Rhen is shaping a distinct voice in Victorian wine. Their focus? A home vineyard in the Yarra, organic and expressive — and a deep love affair with Italian varieties from the iconic Chalmers vineyard in Heathcote.

Their style is all about snapshot winemaking — capturing the energy of a moment. Think: natural fermentations, seasoned barrels, no fining or filtering. Add a splash of skin contact, whole bunch ferments, and a touch of funk and flair.

The result? Compelling, refreshing wines with lift, texture, and soul.
