We’re thrilled to host a FREE tasting with Ned from High Hopes showcasing Owen Lattas label Latta Vino — boundary-pushing with deep roots in Victorian wine and a restless drive to keep moving it forward.
Owen grew up in the winery at Eastern Peake in Coghills Creek, Victoria. By 15, he’d already made his first Pinot Noir. In 2013, he launched Latta Vino to give himself the space to explore different varietals and sites across Western and Central Victoria, working with low or no sulfur and minimal intervention.
It’s not just about the wine for Owen — it’s about the soil, the sustainability, and the bigger picture. He’s constantly evolving, and it shows. Along the way, he’s picked up recognition like Gourmet Traveller Wine’s Young Winemaker of the Year (2018) and, most recently, the 2025 Young Gun of Wine.
This is a rare chance to taste through Latta Vino's latest releases, chat all things wine, and get a glimpse of what’s next from one of the most exciting figures in Australian wine. From 4-6pm.
