Dakini Fest is jam packed with underground bands all along the East Coast of so called AUS, specialing in Punk, Funk, Soul, Jazz & Pysch Rock. This is a night that dances between polarities, loaded full of energy and distinguishes all lines and boundaries. With a likeup stacked with acts such as
Dakini Cuddle, Ebi Nori & The Fantom Fingers, Flukes of Sendington, Madam Sandler, The Business Lounge, Tin Can Telephone, Izjkala + more to be annouced, this mini-festival is set at the beautiful Evelyn Hotel in the middle of Fitzroy!
Bands from interstate NSW like Byron Bay, Central Coast and South Coast will be sharing the bill with local Naarm Projects both underground and up & coming. Worlds collide and unintentionally this festival becomes a showcase of some pretty unfamiliar minds that are quite familiar in the arts of mind bending.
A ritual of sorts, this festival can also be used as a way to release all the bullshit from the last 9 years. As we are at a turning point, we enter the number 1 year next year. Where will you be? What will you be doing? Where are you going? All these questions & feelings…. Well there’s no better way than a hard f**king reset like what a festival can give you!
