People talk about pairing wine with food but has anyone thought about how a Dub DJ set would pair with wine? On June 5th from 4–6pm we’re pouring wines from legends Konpira Maru — the crew who basically said “why can’t interesting wine also be dangerously easy to drink on a Wednesday night?”
What started as two mates sinking beers at the pub turned into one of Australia’s most loveable minimal-intervention wine projects. Expect juicy, character-filled wines made with maximum care, zero snobbery, and very strong “just one more bottle” energy.
They’re farming organically up in Whitlands above King Valley, surrounded by sub-alpine gums and red soil magic — and somehow bottling all of that into wines that absolutely slap with spaghetti.
