We're incredibly excited to welcome Timo Mayer, one of Australia's most influential and revered winemakers, for a rare afternoon tasting.

If you've spent any time around wine people, you've heard the name. Timo is the Yarra Valley legend whose uncompromising philosophy of "Bring Back the Funk" helped reshape modern Australian wine. A pioneer of 100% whole-bunch fermentation, his wines have inspired a generation of winemakers and changed the way many people think about Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and cool-climate Australian wine.

Born into a German winemaking family with more than 400 years of history, Timo arrived in Australia determined to do things differently. Since planting his iconic Bloody Hill vineyard and launching Mayer Wines, he's become one of the country's most sought-after producers, known for wines that are vibrant, expressive, complex, and unmistakably his own.

Beyond the accolades, Timo is one of wine's great characters—part philosopher, part farmer, part mad scientist—with an infectious passion that makes every tasting memorable.
