Free Wine Tasting with Bandicoot Run

Celebrate spring with the wines of Bandicoot Run, an organic vineyard and winery tucked away in West Gippsland, Victoria, run by Al Johnson and Adriana D’Amico.
Established in 2017, Bandicoot Run was born from a desire to work more closely with nature and the ebb and flow of the seasons. Today, Al and Adriana tend seven acres of vines organically, with a focus on biodiversity, healthy soils and a hands-on approach to every part of the process.
Living and working on their family farm, the pair have created a diverse landscape where vines sit alongside orchards, veggie gardens and native vegetation. Pinot Noir takes centre stage in the vineyard, alongside Chardonnay, Syrah, Viognier and Tempranillo.
From the vineyard to the bottle, everything is done by Al and Adriana themselves. Their fruit is hand-picked in the cool of the morning, naturally fermented without additives and bottled on site, unfined and unfiltered, with only a small amount of sulphur. The result is a thoughtful, hands-on approach to winemaking that lets the fruit and the land do the talking.
With their first vintage released in 2020, Bandicoot Run is all about farming with care, making wines with character and letting nature lead the way.
