Formed in Brisbane and now based in Melbourne, Australia, Pretty Moi is a six-piece indie-rock band that defies genre boundaries and delivers an intoxicating blend of sounds. With a musical style that draws inspiration from various influences, including '60s psychedelic rock, classic soul, and global music.
The band was founded by Ruben Vasconez and Riley Fletcher, two talented musicians with a shared passion for exploring new sonic territories. Together, they embarked on a creative journey that would soon bring together a group of like-minded individuals, each contributing their distinct musical flavours to the ensemble.
Known for their high-energy live performances, Pretty Moi has become a sought-after act in the Melbourne music scene. Sharing the stage with renowned touring bands like Peach Fur, Sunday Honey, Divers, Lazy Ghost, Seaweed on Sticks, and Surf Trash, Pretty Moi has proven their ability to hold their own among some of the industry's most exciting acts.
Pretty Moi have garnered support from Triple J Presenters and local broadcasters with heavy rotation of their single, 'Real Love'. In Mid 2024, Pretty Moi toured southern Queensland in support of their single, selling out their first show in Brisbane and attracting a large audience on the Gold Coast.
