Join us for an afternoon with Restless Bunch Experiment, a small project started by two mates—Gaffey and Swain—who decided that making wine was far more fun than talking about it.
Launched in 2022 with a simple goal of crafting a bright, silky Cabernet Franc, Restless Bunch has evolved into a playground for experimentation, curiosity, and pushing boundaries. Working with tiny parcels of fruit from the Macedon Ranges, Strathbogie, and Central Victoria, every vintage is an opportunity to test new ideas, challenge assumptions, and see where the ferment takes them.
Their philosophy is simple: no risk, no fun.
Expect wild ferments, thoughtful winemaking, and wines that are vibrant, energetic, and full of personality. These are wines made by restless minds who are constantly asking "what happens if we try this?"
