Join HEAPS GRASS at The Evelyn Hotel as they debut their unreleased EP with a live string quartet.

HEAPS GRASS are a 3-piece folk-jazz trio from Sydney who write music combining dreamy textures and rich grooves with nostalgic storytelling, evoking the picturesque NSW South Coast. Existing in the space between the jazz and pop spheres, the trio have captivated audiences across the country with their unique sound.

They recorded their debut EP and released the first single Technicolour in September 2024, before performing at Sydney’s prestigious Phoenix Central Park for the STRATA III Festival of Jazz & New Music. The trio completed two headline EP tours in 2025, reaching Adelaide for COMA’s Winter Season, Melbourne, Canberra and a 3-date stint in Tasmania. Especially prolific on the NSW South Coast, they have performed in Kiama, Nowra, Port Kembla and Wollongong and at the Bloomfield, Milton Jazz, Folk & Blues and Jazz Doof III festivals.
