WINE TASTING - Trutta
The Evelyn Hotel (Fitzroy, VIC)
Friday, 21 November 2025 4:00 pm
Join us for a special tasting with Trutta, an exciting project rooted in the heart of Central Victoria.
Trutta is more than just wine—it's an expression of place, of seasons, and of a deep connection to the land. Farming organically since 2020 on a windswept 5-acre Shiraz block in Harcourt North, Trutta also works closely with like-minded local growers who share a commitment to sustainable, low-intervention viticulture.
Expect wild ferments, traditional techniques, and wines that are shaped by their sites—not the winemaker’s hand. Most are made with no additions beyond a small amount of preservative before bottling, and some are entirely additive free.
Inspired by a family passion for fly fishing, Trutta captures the same feeling of harmony with nature that comes from casting a line in a pristine high-country stream. It’s this quiet connection to the land that you’ll taste in every glass.
Don’t miss this opportunity to explore Trutta’s lineup and meet the story behind the bottle. From 4-6pm on Friday the 21st of November. As always it's free!
